This week’s word was “jump,” and it took two trips to different skate parks to get this shot. I took my first trip to the Boulder skate park, and as it turns out, there were more kids doing tricks on bikes than boards. Not that I’m partial to skateboarding, but I thought the pics might be more interesting. The Boulder pics may have also turned out better if the background wasn’t so busy, which is why I decided to take the second trip to the Denver skate park.
I ended up having a few shots to choose from but thought my final submission exemplified the word “jump” better than the others. Since I had so much fun, I decided to post one of the other pics I took below.
This week I practiced using the Tv (shutter-priority) setting on my camera with help from a tutorial I found online (link). Believe it or not, I actually found it pretty helpful! Read more about Amber’s photo HERE.
